A Walk in the Park

A Walk in the Park

Not all software development is an adventure in the wilderness--e.g., creating another new report that’s similar to other reports already created. When it’s not, then perhaps Agile practices don’t apply.

A walk in the park:

  • Well maintained trails.
  • Good maps.
  • Relatively short distances.
  • No obstacles to speak of, could even run it if you wanted.
  • If you're a frequent walker in the park, then you likely travel the same trail repeatedly. If you're attempting to optimize your trip, then it's a matter of shaving minutes rather than days.

Honestly, not the kind of trek that engenders excitement among your top-level engineers.
